Veering and epic and elegiac, "For Now" is the poem that first kick-started my on-again, off-again relationship with poetry. It is a poem that does not care what you or I think of it, nor does it ask that you or I totally understand it, as I believe all great poetry should in some manner. All it asks of us is that we allow it to exist, if even in the absolutely terrifying landscape it paints.
